ask your dentist about this
my toddler has fillings on his front teeth and they fall out every 6 months or so...with or without him hitting his face. i didnt want the silver fillings because i dont want my 3 year old having a grill, but were spending $100 every time we go to get the filling fixed. worth it...
A dentist is a professional person (similar to a doctor) who takes care of your teeth, gums and mouth. Among other things, a dentist also provides fillings when necessary and removes teeth when necessary.
You pretty much have to believe the dentist since he has the X-rays. The teeth might have bad spots that can't be seen.
One way to tell the approximate age of a border collie is by their teeth. If they have all their adult teeth and the teeth are bright white, the dog is probably approximately one to two years old. As a dog ages, their teeth become stained and worn. It is an estimate on the age of a dog because a dog who aggressively chews may have worn down teeth when only a couple of years old.
Sure. I just wouldn't eat sticky candy. In the old days, if fillings were badly done, some air might be trapped between the filling and the teeth, which could compress and cause pain whilst diving. However, with modern dentistry, this is a problem that rarely occurs any more.
Use whitening toothpaste and mouthwash every day twice a day!!!
my daughter was just quoted a price of 800.00 for a back tooth in a five year old. supposedly it was because it touched 3 surfaces...so i guess he's charging for 3 teeth. that doesn't include the gas to put the little guy into la la land. crazy.
It is problematic to change old large amalgam fillings to composite fillings because there may not be enough tooth structure left to support the new filling. If this is the case, the tooth will probably fracture soon after the new filling is placed. A better, safer alternative in this situation would be to place a porcelain crown instead of a filling.
A lot of things generally have the possibility to make your teeth fall out, but while you're young, you should refrain from eating lots of candy to avoid fillings when you're older. When your young, you loose your baby teeth so when you grow up your teeth are the right size and fit in your mouth nicely... when your very old you start to loose your adult teeth because they are old and you have bad teeth.... but not all oldies loose their teeth..... So try to avoid the junk food if you want your teeth to stay in your mouth....
one child i met had 3 silver fillings but had apparently all ready had them all filled twice before!

More important than whether you eat sweets is HOW WELL and HOW OFTEN you clean your teeth and gums. I ate lots of sweets as a child and never had any fillings until I was 21 years old.
