How do you get the dog to come with you on Big Nate Island in Poptropica?

Spitsy the lost dog doesn't follow you. Play "Hangman" (Go ToJail) in the clubhouse atop the playground (Kids Only). Nate will give you a box of peanut butter crackers. Once the talking girls are gone, giving the dog some crackers will get him to dig up the Time Capsule. (see related questions)

At the playground where the girls are standing. On Big Nate Island, the Time Capsule is buried in the playground area. However, you need to accomplish some steps before you can get it. # Turn the lighthouse crank to scare away the seagull. # Get the Time Capsule chart from Seal Island with the jet ski. # Restore the bell clapper to the school bell and ring it. When these are done, the girls will move from the playground and the dog can dig up the Time Capsule. (see related questions)

you need to go into the clubhouse on the playground and play one of the games to get peanut butter crackers.

then you use the crackers exactly on top of where the girls were, and voila! the dog comes and digs for you.
