Copy the vehicle VIN on a piece of paper, bring that with proof of ownership and personal ID to a local GM dealer. They can cut you a new key with that info. If not you will need to contact a locksmith.

Most hardware stores make copies of keys. The 1998 Intrigues do not have chips imbedded in the key so you can get copies anywhere they make copies. Modern cars you have to go a locksmith or a dealer to do it which is very expensive. Just the key alone could cost $60+. Expect to pay no more than $10 for a copy for your Intrigue.
