I have a Chevy Blazer 2000 4 Wheel Drive ZR2 The Spare Is On The Back With a Lock How do I remove the Spare Tire Thank You
It is located under carraige rear of the car. Wheel can be lowered using a handle inside the hatch back.
Well not exactly, the engine is in the back but the front pops up for minimal space and a spare wheel.
On the back of the fuel tank, about in the middle, behind the carpet and spare wheel.
tire iron - located under the back seat.
The jack should be either under the back passenger seat or behind the spare wheel if mounted to the wall in the back.
Yes and no. If it isn't too much different then you can use it short term on a non-drive axle. In other words, put it on the front if your car is a rear wheel drive or put it on the back if your car is front wheel drive.
The wheel jack on the Picasso is located in a plastic case (which also doubles up as a wedge to stop the car rolling back) inside the spare tyre. To access the spare tyre you will need to locate the winding handle. This is kept in one of the two floor storage bins in the rear passanger footwell. Use this to "unwind" the spare tyre using the bolt located in the boot under the carpet "lift up flat" to the right of the boot. Wind the tyre down and unhook the tyre to find the plastic case which is held inside the wheel. The jack is inside this case. A word of warning: The jack on my Picasso stripped it's thread as I trtied to use it to jack the car up!
located underneath the car in the rear. if you go to the very back of the car, & then look under it from behind the bumper, you should see a round shaped wheel cover. removing it will reveal the spare tire within it. if you see no cover or wheel, then someone has removed them & never replaced them.
All you need to do is take the jack long handle, and insert it through the small opening in the jamb where the back door is. (you must open back hatch door to see it). Start winding and the spare wheel will start dropping.
It is in a plastic box attached to the spare wheel carrier under the vehicle. The wheel brace is inside the boot at the back and is needed to loosen the carrier retaining screw in order to lower the carrier.
