Talk her into it.... persuade and tell her why you want it.....tell her how you feel....if she doesn't agree... make a deal!
15. I took my mum tho.
Do it behind her back, I did and my mum still doesn't know because my mum doesnt look atme because i am older.
Yes, especially if she said no.
I would suggest calling Tigerlilly and ask them directly, but your mom will need id for both of you.
5 inchesb deep your mum
Getting your belly pierced isn't bad! It hurts a little if you knock it, i can understand where your mum is coming from, if you don't clean it properly then it can get infected! shes only looking out for you! just tell her the good points about it - like it looks good and you can be more happy and confident! why not even let her go along with you to get it done, she might allow you then and feel more involved within the situation.
The first reaction from any parent is to automatically say no to a request for a piercing. Show them you have thought about this and are not taking it lightly. Go to the shop you are looking to get pierced from and get their aftercare handout and talk to them about the piercing you are looking into getting. Once you have acquired this information read it over and make sure its something you can take care of. Then and only then sit down with your mother and talk to her about it. If she still says no don't freak out and start screaming this is only counter productive. Explain that you have looked into it and know the risks and how to take care of it.
you can't unless your the age or over from where you don't need your parents permision to get a piercing and i would not pierce it yourself as known the belly button is more likely to get infected then any other piercings and mine is now but i got it done preoffesionally so don't even attempt to pierce it yourself you could do it wrong or anything so I suggest you just try talking to your mum and show her a video of somebody having it done and that is does not hurt and a few images which is really pretty which may change her mind hopefully and just try persuading her don't get mad if it does not work just wait you have plenty of time to get your belly button pierced.
it is a good idea to get your belly button pierced when you are roughly 13 because your at that age where you are old enough to make your own decision and you are fairly mature. all of my 7 daughters have had their belly button pierced at 13, it was their decision and my 12 year old daughter is getting hers done next week because she is 13 in 4 days and she would like hers doing too. i don't regret letting them get it done because it doesn't put you through much pain like your ears and they all love it and are very mature about it. i got mine done at 16 and i think my mum should of let me get in done younger because the longer you wait the more frightened you get and you tense up your body making it hurt more. i hope this has helped:)
you can get you belly button pierced in Britain at any age as long as you have a parent or an adult to sign the papers for you. I had mine done when i was 11 as my sister signed the forms for me. but be sure to go around your local piercing shops just to be sure, as some shops say that the minimum age they do is 16 whether you have an adult to sign for it or not. before i had mine done, my mum went to the piercing shop with my little sister telling the woman that her daughter wanted her belly-button pieced and the woman thought that my mum had meant my little sister...shes only 7!!!!! but yeah, im now 14 and had a successful healing with no complicaions, if you need to ask me anything else, e-mail me on starsia94@AOL.com!!! hope i helped!
Your mother is always right! Yuuu won't die if u don't get it! I'm a 17 year old I wanted a piercing but now that I'm older I see how dumb it may be and that a piercing isn't all that!
Well I don't really think there is a way to change her mind you are simply to young and probably you mother thinks your irresponsible to take care of it.
