The coolant temperature sensor can be found on the front of the engine, near the thermostat. Remove the coolant temperature sensor retaining nut, to replace it.
I'm not sure what you're asking, but if you mean that you are getting an OBD-II diagnostic code of P0128 from your Volvo S40, that code corresponds to a problem with coolant temperature. Camshaft sensor is located at rear end of rear camshaft(near driver). It is screwed on the little bowl and has a connector attached to it. The little bowl contains the camshaft sensor gear , do not unscrew if not necessary , just replace sensor. Jules

Remove the wiring harness from the EGR temperature sensor. Remove the two retaining screws from the sensor. Reverse the process to install the new sensor.
