Tie a tourniquet on the arm (over the humerous bone). Release the tourniquet every half hour and tie again till you reach the operation theatre. Don't give orally anything for it may interfere in giving general anesthesia.

-Jack that wheel of the car off the ground -Pull the wheel off -Turn wheel to angle tie rod out -Crack tie rod to steering arm nut -Remove cotter pin then nut from tie rod -Tap the spindle where tie rod sits in, with hammer to loosen or use a pickle fork -Remove tie rod, noting where it was on the steering arm and insert new one same -Tighten arm nut, rod nut and cotter pin inserted -Assemble wheel If you mark the location of the tie rod on the steering arm, counting how many turns it took to remove it and replace the new one the same amount of turns, you will not have to realign the vehicle. Also make sure the new one is the exact length as the old.
