from purchasing the 1st map pack, First Strike, 1200 MS points and i don't know how much for PS3
If you bought the "Call of Duty Black Ops bundle" (which consists of a 160 GB PS3 and the game COD) the package would have a code to unlock the First Strike Map Pack. You could redeem that code then download it. It was pretty long for me, because it was 1026 MB. If you didn't buy the bundle, you might as well get a credit card or a PSN Card go to the PlayStation Store and buy it there.
The 4th map pack to be released for the Xbox 360 on August 23 2011 is the most desirable for purchase Rezurrection will include the 4 WAW Zombie Maps Nacht der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, & Der Riese that have been modified for Black Ops. It will also include a new Zombie Map called Moon and a new zombie featured in the Moon Map Phasing Zombies. PS3 and PC are expected to be released 30 days later on September 22 2011.
