Ceratinly. You would need to buy the Win7 upgrade and away you go.
You go to My Computer and right click Floppy (A)and click Format. A dialog will appear and after selecting the right options for you (quick/full format, label etc.) you click Start.Note: A floppy disk must be in the drive A: for this to work.First you are going to need a command prompt. From the start button win7 in the search field type (cmd). Then from the command prompt type format A:
No offense but the question answers its self....upgrade XP Proffesional to Windows 7withWindows 7 home premium to Windows 7 professional upgradethe disk upgrades Windows 7 to a better version, and as such has nothing to do with windows xp
You usually get it mostly when you upgrade from Vista/XP to Win7 on the same computer
first upgrade to win7 home premium and then use anytime upgrade to ultimate! that was easy....
Just upgraded to win7 from xp pro.& created a file in the C:/ drive called Windows.old.Maybe Vista does the same thing.
Win7 Ultimte only adds multi-languages and Bitlocker. And that is it. That can be confirmed on the MS Win7 page. So unless you need those two features, Pro is what you require.
Technically yes. But I wouldn't recommend it since 2GB is the minimum requirement. If you're going to use 64-bit, upgrade to at least 4GB since Win7 32-bit can handle 3GB. Running 64-bit Win7on 2GB is like running Vista on 1GB, it's like a sloth.
Because this is not letting me add any details to my question, or even allowing commas in my question, I'll do it here: SO.. I was dual booting Ubuntu and Win7, and I've been doing it to some extent or another for quite some time (idk, like.. a few months) but my girl kept getting locked out. See, I was trying to change the grub to make Win7 the default boot (I had successfully done this before, mind you) and when I rebooted it to see if it worked, it simply... isn't there. I have Ubuntu, and Memtest, but no Win7. My photos and stuff are still in here (for some reason, my files from Win7 are shared with Ubuntu, but not vice-versa) and I'm trying to figure out if the partition was erased, or is just hidden.. also.. I had tried to "get terminal" because it wouldn't let me update grub via the command prompt without it.. I'm not sure if it worked... it showed up "Filefail 1..." then if I pressed enter 2.. so on and so on untill I just closed it..
The do a Clean install after you back up your data. RAID controllers can cause upgrade issues because of potential data loss inherent in the technology so a Clean install is your safest bet. Enjoy Win7, it`s fast, stable and a real winner!
