You could try a fuel catalyst. They're different than fuel additives because they actually help your engine burn fuel more efficiently. The one I use is Fuel Infusion - www.fuelinfusion.com and I see about a 10-15% increase in MPG. Others have reported larger gains. Anyway, besides good car maintenance, a fuel catalyst is a cheap way to increase your gas mileage. Good Luck!
Yes to a degree. As the pressure is increased, there is less tire contact with the road surface (grip is reduced accordingly) and gas milaege improves slightly.
A fluid which is reduced in volume by an increase in pressure.

The pressure inside the container will increase. Pressure (P) is force(F) divided by the area(A) it hits on. If you decrease the area, you increase the pressure.
steam quality increase
If the volume is reduced, and all else remains the same, then the pressure will increase by a factor of 2, or it will double.

If the volume of a container of air is reduced by one half the partial pressure of the oxygen with in the container will be doubled. If the volume of a container of gas is reduced, the pressure inside the container will increase.
In a simple system with a fixed orfice expansion device for example, an overcharge will increase suction and head pressure. Compressor amps will also increase. Overall refrigeration capacity will be reduced. lc
When the pressure of a gas is reduced it gets colder.
Gas tends to take the shape of the volume it's in. If the volume is reduced, then the pressure of the gas will increase.
Reducing the volume that a gas occupies will increase the pressure because it reduces the surface area that the gas has to impact against. Likewise increasing the temperature will increase pressure by increasing the kinetic energy of the gas molecules.
