through their lungs they don't have gills at all
Turtles have lungs - not gills. They breathe just fine in air, on land.
see land animals have to breathe on land...of course, and sea creatures have Gils which are used to breathe under water but their are some land and sea animals such as frogs or aquatic turtles
Yes, but some species can also breathe through their anus.
Bog turtles are land turtles and land turtles. They are mostly land turtles.
No. Turtles do not have gills so they have to come to the surface of the water to breathe.
No they do not breathe under water. They have lungs. Aquatic turtles such as the red - eared slider can hold their breath for 3 - 4 hours.
Well it would sure be hard to move on land with those fins of theirs, right?
Land turtles.
Turtles live in the water. How can they not breath in what they live in?!
Well not really, all turtles can be on land and breathe air, but if this is a really dry area, I don't know if it would be good for it. If you have a Red Eared Slider- like me you really should get a tank with dry land in it. All turtles can be in a dry habitat, but it won't be healthy for aquatic turtles. It really depends on the temperature and how long it stays in there.
water turtles live in the water land turtles live in the land
No, they can not!
