Living things grow and produce offspring of their own kind .
Living things, as the name suggests, are lively and active. They are made up of cells; exhibit characteristics of life, like growth, movement, reproduction, response to stimuli; they evolve, and require energy for daily activities. Some of the daily life examples of living things around us are human beings, animals, plants and micro organisms.Non-livings things do not exhibit any characteristics of life. They do not grow, respire, need energy, move, reproduce, evolve, or maintain homeostasis. These things are made up of non-living materials. Some examples of non-living things are stones, paper, electronic goods, books, buildings, and automobiles.
Living things have the capacity to reproduce, non-living things do not reproduce. The living things use biological energy for their growth and development, non-living things do not require such energy.
carbon and water
Living things are organisms that exhibit characteristics such as growth, reproduction, response to stimuli, metabolism, and homeostasis. They are made up of cells, require energy for survival, and have the ability to adapt to their environment. Living things can be further classified into categories such as plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms based on their specific features and life processes.
Genetic code
Here are eight characteristics of living things:living things grow and developliving things are based on a universal genetic code (DNA)living things respond and adjust to the environmentliving things are made of cellsliving things reproduceliving things maintain a stable internal environmentliving things obtain and use materials and energyliving things, as a group, adapt and evolve over time
All living things are based on carbon.
Living things are made up of units called cells Living things reproduce Living things are based on a universal genetic code Living things grow and develop Living things obtain and use materials and energy Living things respond to their enviornment Living things maintain a stable internal enviornment Taken as a group , living things change over time.
we can classifying things a either living or non-living based characteristicssuch as the ability to :. grow.move on their on own ;. reproduce ;. respond to changes

christianity is based off all different kind of things such as food and living.
Aristotle classified living things into plants and animals, based on their ability to grow and reproduce. Plants were considered to have only the ability to grow, while animals were considered to have the additional ability to move and possess sensation.
