Marmots are adapted to their enviroment in many ways, one they use a sort of whistling noise to comunicate with other marmots, they have a loud whistling noise so they can comunicate from even two different mountains. Two, they have sharp nails to climb and walk around the mountains easily.

Adaptations of the marmot include its ability to hibernate, dig for food, use each other as lookouts and whistle to warn others of predators. Marmots will hibernate for the entire winter.
