Much the same as men elsewhere in the UK. They certainly don't wear kilts every day, only sometimes on special occasions like weddings.

The national dress in Scotland (for men) is the kilt. A 'dress' kilt is worn with a white shirt, black waistcoat and black jacket, a sporran, socks and black shoes. It's also sometimes worn with a 'gillie' shirt, which is a loose white shirt with a criss-cross lacing tie at the neck. This is a more casual look. However, it is still worn with the sporran, socks and shoes.
