When you plant two kinds or more of the same plant, one or both might turn into Rox flowers. When you dig them up, Rox flowers give you some money. If you get a Rox flower, it will not appear as one on the screen the first time you see it. You have to leave and come back and then you might see one. Rox flowers look a little like moon orchids when they're first planted, so don't get them confused.

That's not true, I planted a completely different plant-twice and it keeps turning out as a rox flower...

Just leave then come back and hover your cursor over the place where your flower was planted. If it says 'dig up this Rox flower' then its obviously a Rox flower ;)

Both of you are right really.Two moon orchids came out as rox when I planted three and the second answers right two that it doesn't go that way all the time like you might not get one or might not get one using the first answers method.I know that because I had a one single star flower and it turned into a rox flower.They just come randomly.

Rox flowers are commonly found in seed packets from the Seed Cart on Main Street. These are flowers for non-members (although members can use them too.) They are less likely to pop up in a seed packet from Super Seeds (only for members) in the Port.
