Well Im Not To Sure... But I Think (Infact Im Positive) That They Have A 2 Or Something Babies, Male And Female... That Are Mutated. They Could Mate And Then Have More And More... But It Takes Ages And Ages.. So I'm Not That Certain... Yeah. AnyWay, If AnyOne Has A More Accurate Answer Feel Free To Post It On Here.

A species will evolve if the environment in which it lives begins to get too hostile.

Only the strong who adapt to the hostility and the adaptation which provides much needed relief will the species continue to survive in it's new altered state.

For example: A white moth lived camouflaged on the bark of a tree that had a white fungus on it. But when black soot began to cover the bark the white moths began to get eaten by the birds. The only moths that survived were the strange mutant black moths that only hatched very infrequently. The black moths bred and created more black moths with kept that moth species alive.

Many, many things. For one thing, that it may happen due to geographical isolation of subpopulations, followed by genetic drift and divergence. Another consequence of the mechanisms proposed originally by Darwin would be that speciation is non-saltational (although we now know there are exceptions to that rule).

Evolution is an accepted fact, not a theory.
There are several theories of how evolution works and proceeds. The best known is the theory through natural selection. Also sometimes referred to as survival of the fittest.

Briefly, when a mutation occurs in genetic material it is usually detrimental and often lethal. Very, very rarely a mutation will provide an survival advantage over similar organisms. This mutation is passed on through the genetic material when the organism reproduces.

The cumulative changes result in a new species.

What is a word for required for new species to form?

The word is evolution. It is the process whereby new types of creatures develop over time and others disappear.

How much time does it take to develop a new species?

A new species can develop in just a few generations. It really depends on the gestation period of the parent species and general length of parenting. For instance, in the 1970s an area in the UK was isolated by the removal of a bridge, separating the field mice of that area from those surrounding it. Within 18 months, the mice of the isolated area developed into a new species. Divergence of rodent populations can progress fairly quickly due to the very short gestations period (20 days on average) and prolific mating.

Why do gestation periods change from species to species?

because it takes longer for a human to develop its advanced brain and organs than it takes for a bird to develop its stupid brain

What is a species and how do they develop?

Species is a label that is attached to a group of reproductively linked, usually cohabitating organisms. New species emerge from existing species through a process called speciation, which is a result of evolution. For more information, see related questions below.

Why might a geographic barrier such as a large river cause the formation of a new species of small rodents but not a new species of birds?

Geographic barrier is the barrier which cease the movement of any organism through it. Now as rodents which are not able to cross the river stay apart and develop into different species whereas the as the birds are able to fly the can cross this barrier and can cross with the birds of other part which did not lead the formation of new species of birds.
