You can buy e-coins and buy gems with your e-coins. If you use those e-coins at the wizard's domain, you can get member stuff! but you have to use gems that equal member stuff. You can't use gems that just give you non-member stuff, because that's a waste. You can do it, but I wouldn't if I were you. So yeah! If you buy gems with E-coins, you can get ultra rare or mega rare or lengendary items! But right now, (April 8-15 2011) they are giving out free starz and gems on fantage, and they give out e-coin gems too!
