Because the Blue Jays have buried the acorns of oak trees, the trees will evntually grow. Because of this, the race of oak trees will not stop.

It is not the coming back and eating the acorns that help the Oak tree it is the ones they forget which then grow.

Squirrels forget where they hide some of the acorns so they will possibly sprout and provide a new tree.
