Try this site. It includes a lot of detail about the Astra talgate/boot lock assembly including the circuit diagram you need. http://sites.google.com/site/gmlockrepairkit/home/astra-h-zafira-b
Fusebox is in the boot behind a panel on the left.
There is a seal around the opening of the boot, if this is worn, torn, or otherwise damaged water will get in.
The inside panel in the boot of an 07 Vauxhall Astra is removed by first removing the wheel and outer retaining cover. A series of clips and retaining screws must then be removed before the inside panel can be detached.
its a 10 amp fuse under the bonnet on the right hand side take the cover off and its there a red one.
The words "Boot Open" means the trunk lid is open. Cheers, Jeff

the fuses are in the boot on the left side
car boot is not opening
If the boot will not open, and it is the "electric boot".... Firstly, try to wash the windscreen using the washers. It is the same fuse. If the washers work, the chances are that the fuse is not blown. The fuse can be found thus: Open the bonnet. Next to the battery (on the right as you look into the engine compartment) is a large black cover. Open it up, you will need a screwdriver to gently release the clips, to see the fuse box. In the fuse box are many fuses, and at the bottom of the box, closest to you, are two fuses. The red one is the boot/washers. It can be the left or right one, as different cars have it on different sides. Alternatively come to where I work, and I will change the fuse for free, because I am nice like that.
i think the convertible lid is shorter due to the panel nearest to the hood opening (bit that lifts when hood is stored) I will check tomorrow as i have coupe and friend at work has convertible.
