It's a part of a balance mechanism of the body called homeostasis.

AnswerSome of the most common way for an organism to adjust to changes in body temperature is through perspiration or panting. As aforesaid, this is all part of the balance mechanism known as homeostasis, which is usually defined as the "maintenance of a relatively stable, internal environment." AnswerAlso, some of them shiver when they get cold. However, most organisms aren't as fussy about temperature as we warmblooded animals (mammals and birds). Whereas mammals and birds regulate their temperature quite tightly (for us it's 37 degrees C), other organisms generally have to tolerate whatever temperature they find themselves at (which is usually colder). Snakes sometimes sunbathe to keep warm. On a biochemical level, organisms (except for warmblooded animals) have several different enzymes which perform the same task but are optimized to work at different temperatures, and they produce whichever one is appropriate.

in cases like the polar bear, they have 1) blubber to insulate heat 2) thick fur 3) dark or black skin and/or fur and 4)modified fur. polar bear fur is actually hollow and acts like mini greenhouses, trapping heat. it looks white because of the reflected light.

things like humans living high up in mountains have adapted to take in more oxygen to burn nutrients faster to release more heat. this is done by taking more breaths a minute or more haemoglobin (iron compound) in the blood

Can aquatic organisms or terrestrial organisms adapt better when there are temperature fluctuations?

Aquatic organisms or terrestrial organisms do not adapt better when there are temperature fluctuations. Changes in temperatures will a direct affect on the organisms which may hinder proper adaptations.

What can Organisms adapt?

Organisms can adapt to their habitat or environment. If they don't adapt, then they may not survive long enough to reproduce.

The organisms that could not adapt would die off or they would migrate to another location.

What if a rainforest goes through a drought?

The trees and shrubs will die and the water will dry up. The organisms that live there (animals, plants, bacteria, fungi) will have to adapt to less water. If they don't adapt, they will die out. And the organisms that adapt will have different characteristics than the organisms that did not adapt and live in different regions.
