Wild animals survive by moving to a different area where there is more plentiful food to eat. With farm animals, well that really depends on the producer that's taking care of them. The producer often has to cull hard to lower the herd size to make the feed that is stored or the pastures last longer.
Well like the camel it can store water in their hump for a lot of days so but for some other animals they might just migrate to another place and look for some more food and water. Some animals need a special trait to survive a drought others may not.
Organisms must learn to adapt by surviving with less water than their usual intake or by migrating to an area where there is more water. Species' populations tend to decrease during a drought as some animals die due to lack of water.
Animals adapt to living in a tundra by living in a cave to keep them warm, or some of the animals have fur to keep them warm.

Drought
the instrument to measure drought is not there only. there is no tool to measure the natural disaster drought.
It allows organisms to react, like when a baby bird chirps to its mother for food, the stimuli automatic response is to react, so the mama bird automatically puts food into the baby birds mouth
No, all organisms react to their environment to survive.

There are 7 characteristics of life one of which is irritability, meaning an organism needs to be able to react to its environment, this characteristic or instinct is what causes organisms to react to their environment. The ability to ajust to this change in their environment is adaption.
