How does science relate to language arts?

Well, it really depends what you are talking about. For example the word property (a characteristic of matter) can relate to characters in a story. There are two kinds of property physical and chemical. The physical can relate to the appearance of the character, and chemical can relate to how the character reacts with other characters. If you don't know the definitions physical is when the substance can be observed or measured without chemically changing said substance. Some examples are color, luster, malleability, brittleness, odor, taste, density etc. Chemical is the chemical properties of a substance determine whether or not it will react chemically. The chemical activity of a substance is defined as how easily the substance react with another substance.Hope that helps. Now, I couldn't be general, cause this is kind of a broad question! :)

How can a plot and character relate to one another?

Well, they relate to each other in how they effect each other and how they are parts of each other. If a character is outside of a plot and not part of it, it still affects the character by the fact of observation. If the character is the narrator, the word choice might indicate whether he or she approves or disapproves of what is going on, etc. The plot relates to the character in that it is the story of characters... and relies on characters for existence. Also on a good author... but that is another question entirely. :)

How are you supposed to respod to Which characters did you relate to and no i dont mean which character can you relate to?

The answer is asking which of the character's traits or situation is similar to that of your own. The way that I would suggest to answer it is, "I can relate to (character) because I was in a similar situation once..." or, "I can relate to (character) because I was also (trait) at one point.
