Give the child a warning of the coming consequence if he or she disobeys again, and you are less likely to do it when you are angry. Never spank a child when you are not in control of your own emotions.
Yes spanking is allowed because in most cases parents or gardians think it is right for their children to get spanked if they do bad. They think it will make them a better person.
no
Surprisingly, there are some parents who believe spanking is needed. It is legal in some countries, if I'm not mistaken. It is hard for us to understand those beliefs still exists in the modern world, but it's because of different cultures and religions. Certain ancient religions for example one in China I think, believe that spanking will make their children disciplined better and back then when everyone belived in the religion the method actually worked. But now, with all the global environment and for the ability for the youngs to judge what they think is right and speak up for themselves reduced spankings aroudn the world. It's a culture thing.
Parents should consider stopping spanking as a form of discipline for their children by the time they reach school age, around 5-6 years old.
Sure people think it is but it makes your child ack better. If you get a spanking for lying ur brain tells you not to do it again
maybe she was spanked by her parents when her behavior is very bad
Talking to your child is the best alternative to spanking. Children should also be able to communicate their feelings to their parents and parents should have the ear to listen. If a parent and a child see each other eye to eye and understanding each other, the relationship between is smoother and stress-free. Spanking is always not a good idea. Communication is the key.
Yes because, I do illeagal things, ditch school, and I lie to my parents
Spanking can be a part of a fetish. It allows the one being spanked to feel dominated, which can be sexually stimulating and pleasurable for some. Spanking is also used in foreplay.
Children remember pain and if they get spanked for acting up then they will tend to act up less because they don't want to get spanked. I am 15 i remember being spanked. Now my parents yell at me and ground me and it doesn't do much to keep me out of trouble.
You either spank you child or you don't. I personally don't belive in spanking. It is the lazy way for parents to discipline their kids. As a device to heighten sexual arousal in consenting adults however, it has it's place.
It depends on what you did and your age. It also depends on who is doing the spanking. I, personally, do not believe that anyone other than parents should spank a child. A good test of whether spanking would be effective would be to ask you which form of discipline you would choose if you could. If you say being grounded, chances are that you are still of an age where spanking would be effective. If you would rather take the spanking, then chances are you have become too old to be spanked and grounding is the way to go. Spanking is not wrong or immoral. It does not do mental or emotional harm to the child. Children learn obedience and respect from such discipline. However, spanking should never be confused with a beating. What you are spanked with should be considered. I would recommend parents not use their hands, which should always bring love and comfort. Neither would I use anything that could break the skin. Spanking should not leave bruising in any form and should never be on any part of the body except the buttocks or palm of the hand. The spanking should be in private and not cause embarrassment or humiliation, such as spanking in the nude or in front of viewers. If parents are consistent in both their love and discipline, spanking is rarely, if ever, necessary, but again, it all depends on you.
