Drilling or mining deeper into the Earth is technically challenging and expensive, requiring advanced technology and expertise. Additionally, deeper drilling carries potential environmental risks and safety concerns that must be carefully considered and addressed.
Diamonds are erupted to the earth's surface through volcanic pipes. Diamonds are found on every continent except Europe and Antarctica. Actual mining locations include South Africa, Canada, India, Russia, Brazil and Australia. If you're in the United States, you can go to the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas, which is open to the public.
