The products of photosynthesis are used as the reactants for cellular respiration, and vice versa.

Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) to create organic molecules and oxygen (O2).

In turn, cellular respiration takes those two products (oxygen and organic molecules) to create carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O)

What is the process that does the opposite to photosynthesis?

Cellular respiration, because it releases the energy stored in carbon bonds by photosynthesis, and recombines carbon into carbon dioxide.

What product of photosynthesis is needed by both plants and other organisms for cellular respiration?

The products of photosynthesis are glucose and oxygen. Oxygen is used in cellular respiration.

Is photosynthesis and cellular respiration related?

Yes, the two are opposites of each other. Photosynthesis builds up complex sugars that have a lot of stored energy while cellular respiration breaks down these sugars, release the energy and store it in the form of ATP. The products and wastes of one process end up as the reactants for the other process.

How does photosynthesis and cellular respiration form a cycle?

The two chemical reactions essentially form a cycle, in that the products of one reaction fuel the other. CO2 and H2O released from cellular respiration reenter the atmosphere and are recycled by photosynthetic organisms, which in turn produce the sugars and oxygen needed for respiration to occur once more. Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are part of which cycle?

While photosynthesis requires carbon dioxide and releases oxygen, cellular respiration requires oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. It is the released oxygen that is used by us and most other organisms for cellular respiration.

How do processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration relate to each other?

Can an organism carry out cellular respiration without photosynthesis how about photosynthesis without cellular respiration?

Cellular respiration is possible without photosynthesis in an organism but photosynthesis is not possible without cellular respiration.

Cellular respiration is the opposite of what other cellular process?

photosynthesis

How are cellular respiration and photosynthesis are related?

Photosynthesis' products are the same as the reactants of cellular respiration. In other words photosynthesis makes what cellular respiration uses.

Comparing cellular respiration and photosynthesis?

There are a number of comparisons between photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Both processes eventually produce energy which is passed on to other parts of the organisms to b used for various processes.

Does oxygen can enter the atmosphere during cellular respiration or photosynthesis?

Oxygen can enter the atmosphere during celluar respiration, because if it enters photosynthesis, how about the other organisms?

What can Described as the reverse of photosynthesis?

Cellular respiration. Their chemical equations are the reverse of each other.
