Random surveys by independent researchers. Followup questionnaires to customers. Invitations for discounts or bonuses to answer questions through internet site. Registration for warranty (could also lead to followup questionnaires). Analysis of refunds, returns and exchanges. Use of discount coupons for subsequent purchases. Requests for allied products or accessories.

5 different methods of secondary market research are : Questionnaires Interviews Surveys Observations and testing I think these are the most important in secondary research because I find it very interesting and helpful! :)

Territory manager has to manage the businees and achieve sell target in the given territory which is assigned to him by the Management.Secondly,he has to perform and monitor different Promotional activities to increase the sell.He should develop healthy environment amongst the team members.he should develop stronge relation with the company's Direct customers(Distributors) as well as try to keep in touch with the end user so that he can understand the customer demand and if there is something wrong happening in the market then he can solve it.


Definition of primary and secondary research?

Primary research (also called as field research) involves collecting data first hand. This can take many forms,the main ones being interviewed, questionnaires, panels and observation. Secondary research(also called desk research) involves collecting data which already exists. This includes using information from reports, publications, Internet research and company files.
