Over the last 3 to 5 hundred years humans didn't know very much about how the universe worked. Some thought the world was only 6000 years old while others thought it was flat and others thought the universe revolved around the earth. Before the microscope was invented nobody knew about the many living organisms that were too small for the human eye to see, and there were very few colleges that specialized in teaching science. People didn't have any understanding about volcanoes, fossils, hurricanes, earthquake, lightning, disease, and sexual reproduction.
The scientific discoveries of age were based on very little information. Scientists had to Gage their discoveries on educated guess, theories, and exploration. Whereas, the recent discoveries are mostly found during analysis and exploration of past studies. They are evolved questions to existing answers.
New scientific models are developed in order to reflect the most recent discoveries.
Well if we didn't have any models and so we would not have any models
Solar cells provide power for many artificial satellites and unattended remote instrumentation where access to conventional power sources would not be possible. Data collected by these have contributed greatly to many recent scientific discoveries.
Butter is full of great nutrients. Recent scientific discoveries seem to indicate grass-fed butter as the new superfood.
Try the Discovery Magazine website, or Science Daily. They both publish articles on recent scientific discoveries in different fields, including biology.
