There are a few unknown variables to your question, I will take a few things for granted. First, I am guessing you are refering to a Windows login. If this computer has Windows XP or earlier, you can go into safe mode by restarting your computer and continuously pressing the F8 key during login. Once you have done this you can choose the log into Safe Mode option. Once you get to the main screen click on the Administrator login, if you need to type something in type in Administrator leaving the password blank and click enter. Sometimes depending on the brand of computer you may have you may need to type in Owner leaving the password blank. On allot of systems, this will log you into the Administrator login in windows safe mode. Here you can go to the control panel then to the User settings and change the forgotten password on your account without needing to know your old password.
