Scientist knowwhat the moon's crust is made of because the visited the moon's surface before.
Because the moon was once part of planet that colided into another planet at thousands of miles per hour and then the moon broke of. The part that broke off (the moon) was digging in from the planets crust to the outer core which was thousands of degrees hot.
CHEESE ;)
The moon is completely solid, so there is no crust on the moon.
The moon is not made of cheese, despite the popular myth. It is made mostly of rock and dust, with a composition similar to that of Earth's crust. There is no scientific evidence to support the idea that the moon is made of cheese.
If you mean "What is the Moon made of ?" It is made of its core witch is mostly rock and iron. The crust is made of more rock and dust.
Because they use common sense
I dont know about the moon, but the earth's crust is about 6 to 35 km wide, so less than 1% of the total volume of the earth
The moon's rocky crust is made up primarily of various silicate minerals such as plagioclase feldspar, pyroxene, and olivine. It is less dense than Earth's crust and is heavily cratered due to impacts from meteoroids. This crust is generally thinner than Earth's and varies in thickness across the lunar surface.
it provides tides i know because im a scientist
Earth's crust is composed of multiple tectonic plates that float on the semi-fluid mantle below, while the moon's crust is one solid, unbroken layer, with no tectonic activity. Earth's crust is richer in elements like silicon and oxygen, while the moon's crust is mostly made up of different types of rock, such as basalt and anorthosite.
Who Knows , ask a scientist or something ? (who would know that )
because they dont exzacly no but they hypothesize
