Meteors can fall on earth but I don't think stars can. Falling Stars are caused by material entering our atmosphere and burning up; that is waht creates the light we see as the falling star. Wehn material survives the atmosphere and lands in water, or on the ground, these are called meteorites, and techtites. It is rare for material to survive burning up completely in Earth's atmosphere.
