If you have all of your teeth, at the front of your mouth (top and bottom) are the "incisors" (think of "Scissors"). They "cut up" our food because those teeth are shaped like chisels. By the side of those you have "canine" teeth (think of dogs' teeth; dogs are canines). These teeth are like fangs and are more pointed so that you can "tear up" your food. Further back are the "molars" and they have a larger flatter area where the top molars and bottom molars can grind food between them. That last part is the "chewing" process.
chew stuff and actually talk!
Mostly dogs try to get rid of teeth, so they chew on hard stuff to make their teeth wiggley, just like people.
Because, without teeth, your mouth would have no other device to chew with.
crush food with your teeth? quite simple its chew
Dogs chew all your stuff because they think it is a fun game. If you give a dog a chew toy and teach them that is what they should chew on, they are more likely to chew on their toy then your stuff.
they use their teeth to grab their food and they don't chew their food
seahorses do not chew their food because they do not have teeth
humans chew up and down (with their teeth)
if they have teeth
because it is thick and dogs like to teethe on stuff. Rubber and rope for a dog is a person's pack of gum. We chew on gum, but they chew on rubber. The rubber feels good on their teeth.
You can give them different chew toys for them to chew on and it should keep the teeth at a decent length.
Yes teeth adapt to what they chew on.
