Some larger aircraft have a "handicapped" accessible restroom. Unfortunately, however, on Most long flights there Is no accommodation. Disabled people are forced to wear Depends, or some such garment. This is a very humiliating situation, and disabled groups have been working with the aircraft industry to remedy the problem. Unfortunately, since airlines have not been buying new planes, and the cost of remodeling them for handicapped restrooms add to a plane's cost, it's been difficult to implement the necessary changes.
