The particles of a solid are packed together tight, and since they are, they don't move, they vibrate back and forth. The particles of a gas are few and far between, so they fly around randomly. Hope this helps.

Is a solid and helium the same?

no. they are different. helium is a gas and is different from solid.

because earth has gas particles that can let helium go

What is helium gas or air?

helium is a gas. air is a bunch of different gasses.

What makes helium?

The decay of uranium emits lots of alpha particles and a natural gas pocket tends to be a sealed container underground. Helium is cryogenically distilled out of natural gas to produce the helium.

How are the particles in the model different from real gas particles?

The particles are free

Is helium atom an aersol?

No. An atom is not an aerosol in any form. An aerosol consists of solid particles or liquid droplets suspended in a gas. Since helium consists of single atoms it is simply a gas.

Are air particles smaller than that of gas particles?

Air particles are gas particles. Some gas particle are larger than others, and the nitrogen (N2) and oxygen (O2) that make up 99% of our atmosphere are rather large, which is why lighter gases, such as hydrogen (H2) and helium (He) rise.

What is an unreactive gas element that in radioactive form is a byproduct of most nuclear explosions?

Helium (or alpha particles)

How does the average kinetic energy of the helium atoms in a balloon change as the helium gas is heated?
