Marsupials give birth to very tiny young and nourish them in the pouch until they can survive on their own.
Thier gestation periods are diffrent. Marsupials have a short gestation date while mammels are normally long.
I would say it is different because the opossum is marsupial and the cat is not so there birth of there kids would be different
No. Like rats, they are rodents, but they exist in a separate family from them. Rats belong to Muridae, the family for True Mice and Rats. Kangaroo Rats belong to the Heteromydae family, which they share with pocket mice. They differ to rats in that they hop, and have cheek pouches for food storage.
The European fox is introduced. Most Australian mammals are marsupials and the fox is an introduced placental mammals which is a considerable threat to Australia's native wildlife.
They are nocturnal.Almost all marsupials are nocturnal.Koalas are different from many other marsupials because they are one of the few marsupials which have backward-facing pouches.Something which makes the koala completely unique is the fact that the mother produces a substance called pap for their joeys to prepare them for a life of eating eucalyptus leaves.Baby koalas, called joeys, drink mother's milk during their first 6-7 months of life. After 30 weeks, the mother produces a substance called pap. This substance is actually a specialised form of the mother's droppings which, having passed through her digestive system, give the joey the enzymes it needs to be able to start digesting the tough gum leaves, making an easier transition for the baby koala to start eating eucalyptus leaves.
Well for starters i just want to say good question! I love trying to find a good vest or accessories for someone. I looked and looked for universal mag chest rigs, and I found nothing that was able to hold four of each of the 2 guns you own AND had MOLLE weaving on the back. There are plenty of rigs that get the mag part down of your request, but I could not find a vest that also had MOLLE on the back. I am unsure if you needed both 4 ak and 4 sig552 mags at the same time or seperately so here is a link to all the MOLLE pouches on the same website that the 2 rigs were. This will give you every pouch on the website, if the pouches say universal it will hold any type of magazine except pistol pouches. Also sig552 mags may fit better in a universal pouch better then in an ak pouch depending on how big you mag is because some sig 552 mags differ in length. I would say try to find universal pouches and if you can't, just go with ak pouches.
With regard to carrying unborn young, marsupials have a very short gestation period compared to that of placental mammals of similar size. For example, a quoll has a gestation period of 21 days. It is often compared in size to a cat, which has a gestation period of 63-65 days. A wallaby's gestation period averages 30 days; a similar-sized dog has a gestation period of up to 65 days, depending on the breed. The shorter gestation period of marsupials is because they have a yolk-like placenta by which to nourish the young. By contrast, the placenta of placental mammals, or eutherians, nourishes the developing embryo using the mother's blood supply. This allows for longer gestation time.
Placental mammals give birth to live young, which, during development, are nourished by a placenta. Marsupials give birth to very tiny, undeveloped offspring, which they then shelter in a pouch until the baby has developed more fully. Monotremes are mammals that lay eggs, and the only existing types are the platypus and the echidna.
