In the Reina-Valera version of the Spanish Bible, Ebenezer is written 'Eben-ezer.'

Ebenezer is the Roman alphabet spelling of the Hebrew name אבן העזר. It means "stone of the help.' In Spanish, it could be said as 'piedra del socorro' or, 'piedra de la ayuda.' As a personal name, it would be said in Spanish 'eh ven EH ser.'
