The manufacturers base they price on cost of materials and cost of labor and cost of running the machine. If prices of materials go up or down so does cost of furniture. Same with labor. Plus the amount they need to pay there staff at the corprate level and sales.
Then the local store has to take that price and add cost of there sales team and office staff. plus any other expenses. And there profit.
