No, despite what PETA says, the testing today is necessary in research. Such things as diabetic medications, new therapies for drug resistant viruses, and other medical research is vital to today's medical community.
Animal cruelty is torturing animals for kicks. This serves no purpose than to inflict pain on an animal for no reason. Animal testing is the second step in determining whether a drug or therapy will work on humans. The third step is clinical human trials.

∙ 15y agoThey put the animals under a series of procedures [like surgurey, getting shots, etc] and then after a while they veiw the condotion of the animal. They take no care for the animal whatsoever so the animal would do slowly and painfuly. They don't even give out pain killers. This actually is usless because animals are NOTHING like us, so only 2% of the time the animals will react how we react. You Can Make A Difference...Don't But Animal Tested Products!
