i think that time zones effect other peoples lives because say you are going on a train and you dont know what time it is say California and you leave 6 hours different then what you had planed on! hope it helps.
because it not true
Divided the United States into time zones
There were no time zones anywhere in the world before the United States railroads set up the system. Before time zones all clocks were set to local time based on when the sun reached noon in that town. This made it impossible for the railroads to create workable train schedules throughout their entire system. Time zones made it possible to schedule trains and keep them operating on schedule.
If you mean time zones. There is one. Russia has 7 time zones.
there are 24 time zones
Time zones simply create a workable 'day' and 'night'. If countries didn't use time zones (and the whole planet worked on the same time), people would be going to bed at (for example) 9am just because it was dark then. Time zones bring sensibility to daily life. The only disadvantage - is having to adjust to different times when you travel overseas. For example - it might be 8am when you depart, but (after travelling through a number of time zones) - it might only be 2am local time.
The Uttermost Co. Time Zones clock can handle up to eight time zones concurrently.
40 time zones in the world.
there is 24 standard time zones!
There are 24 time zones.
Time Zones?
Time zones significantly impacted railroads by standardizing schedules and improving efficiency. Before time zones were established, trains operated on local time, leading to confusion and scheduling conflicts. The introduction of standardized time zones in the late 19th century allowed for more reliable timetables, reducing accidents and enhancing coordination across long-distance travel. This change facilitated the growth of the railroad industry and improved passenger and freight transportation.
