trees are an integral part of the ecosystem. they undergo photosynthesis to convert carbon dioxide (what we breathe out) into oxygen (what we need to breathe). also, they provide habitat for animals of all sorts. they also prevent soil erosion. their deep root systems hold the soil in place and prevent or lessen runoff and possible flooding and land-slides.

It helps restore forest health by saving our soil and water, it also increases the quality of our water, saves wildlife, and freshens our air. There are many more things that it does as well.

Trees prevent soil erosion and they also provide a weather-sheltered ecosystem in and under their foliage, as many animals and plants live around them. Many trees produce edible fruits too.

Trees are a huge contributor of oxygen into the atmosphere. They also take up a huge amount of carbon dioxide. Trees are good at providing shade to organisms that do not tolerate sunshine, and directly provide a home or food for a number of plants and animals.
