They can't. Even Grand Theft Auto can't. UNLESS you play: before you go to school. Get home, blow off your homework and play till dinner. Then play after dinner till bedtime. Weekends: play the whole weekend and still get an F on your home work The whole idea of how Video Games affect student grades is primarily on the fact that they play them all of the time. If they were to continuously play video games their grades would drastically change negatively. Video games start to become a distraction and that distraction starts to invert even the best scholar.
Some research vary and seem to depend on the type of game played by the certain indivisual. Studies show that a consistant playing of most puzzle and strategy games without much violence will help a child's school performance (awareness, attentiveness, problem-solving, etc.) much more than game with large amounts of violence, destruction, or games heavily based on action.
idk find it a different way
Dudee omg.. XD anyway i think it normally starts with people feeling harder to stop themselves from playing games, when they get like desperate that it becomes an addiction. And then they spend lots of time on those games and not completing homework and stuff, and also have less time to do revision in school subjects, so when the tests or exams come, they get not-so-good grade.
Depends how much. A little video games after homework is finished isn't necessarily a bad thing, but some kids will get up early and skip breakfast to play, or they will play after school and end up not studying or doing homework. They could also be playing until past midnight, which results in lack of sleep, which results in bad grades.
For the most part negatively. Mostly because kids will play games too much and it will cut into homework time, or play too late into the night and not get enough sleep. So there is very little positive affect video games can have on a child's grades, but it can increase there problem solving abilities, eye-hand coordination, memory and confidence. But overall school impact is a lot greater.
Video don't cause bad games directly. The TV does. Have you ever heard that TV turns your brain to mush. That because when you watch TV for a long time, chemical changes happen in the brain, making it feel like "mush". You probably play video games a lot and this can happen. It kinda messes you up for a while and you wont feel quite right. Limit your time on your TV and study, and your grades should be fine.
Do good in school! :)
it lowers lowers your grades and makes you fail because the game is so addicting that you cant get off so then you don't have time to study.
if you game when you should be studying, yes definitely. my advise, finish studying then play as much as you want.
Well it depends on what kind of video games are the kids playing with and how long you use the video games. Some types of video games are for kids not all.

Actually, it depends on what game you play. There are alot of games that are not good for the kids but their parents still let them play. But there are some games that can help kids, like reading games. Actually, it depends on what game you play. Because Video Games are Awesome!
Because little kids games suck.
Violent video games provide a window for children to vent. If children didn't have video games like Grand Theft Auto, they wouldn't know the consequences of stealing a car, or beating up a hooker. If I have played it in a video game, I probably wouldn't want to do it In real life.
Yes.
yes
According to researches, about 46% of kids drop because of video games.
