You are asking about alternative sources of energy. That refers to sources other than the kind the world has been using throughout the 20th century: coal, oil, natural gas. All these are fossil fuels (non-renewable, when they have all been used up there won't be any more, at least so they say). Alternative sources of energy are generally considered renewable sources. Solar power will never run out as long as the sun is shining. Wind turbines will never stop turning as long as the wind is blowing. Geothermal energy will be available as long as the center of the earth remains hot. The one renewable source that has been used for centuries is water power, which will never run out as long as rain falls on mountains and runs down streams and rivers. All four of these are methods of producing electricity.
The sun lifts the water from the oceans to form the clouds that dump the rains that eventually run into the dams that drive the turbines to produce the electrcity.
A light bulb is not a source of electricity. It is a device used to harness electricity to provide light.
