No but they do use echolocation to locate their prey more easily and also to communicate with each other
Only Killer Whales (Orcas) prey on gray whales.
blue whales open their mouth with their baleen teeth and just center and swim so it goes into its mouth and then the blue whale swallows its prey.
Killer whales have formed many techniques for hunting prey. Some whales have learnt how to beach themselves in order to catch seals some charge into ice floes to get seals usually when they catch prey they use their teeth and thrash around the seal other times they will throw a seal Into the air continuously until it has so much internal bleeding it dies. But that is only how some killer whales catch seals they hunt many different species including whales. Most commonly they will hunt grey whale calf's on their migration they will attempt to separate the mother from the calf. They also use stealth to they will swim very slow making no noise up to animals and then kill them :)
Orca Whales some people might known them as Killer Whales. The Killer Whales or The Orca Whales hunt in groups called "Pods".
