Most form bonds that last the lifetime of the pair. There are more males than females, so the odd male looks for females in other packs but do not form the long term bonds. The males gather around any female who is in heat. Her scent can be sensed miles away.
Wolves find their mates by leaving their original pack, and searching across the searching for one. Eventually the two wolves will meet up and create a new pack, with them as the alphas.

You may find a red wolf in North America in the states of Texas and I believe Louisiana.
It is not possible to mate on Wolf Quest.
Some wolves leave the pack and become lone wolf. A lon wolf travels alone until it finds a mate. These two mayhave pups and form thier own pack.

The first quest is to find a mate. You need to visit all three territories before you can meet a disperal wolf, which is the type of wolf that will be your mate.
You CAN NOT be your mate!
First you go into ALL the wolf territory's and find a wolf in each. The last territory you go to you fight the wolf their, walk around, go back to the place you fought your last wolf, then there will be a boy/girl wolf and you talk to it do NOT fight it then there will be hearts. You want to ask the other wolf "Would you like to start a pack?" then once it reaches 5 hearts... you have a mate.
It is better to find a mate marked Specimen because Slough and Dlrumd will just make you fight.
