Wolves survive by living in packs. They hunt togther, providing food to the entire pack.
The often travel behind elk herds during winter when they migrate, to ensure they still have food to eat. They also fight off enemies and mark territory to warn other animals that they are residing there.
They eat elk, moose, deer, and other animals to survive. They hunt in packs to better their chances of obtaining food.
Also, if they are fortunate, there are sometimes wild fires that trap and broil the deers and other wild life in the forests, and the wolves can eat them as well.
They thrive in small numbers as a group. They hunt, they eat, they raise young....
Well wolves survive by hunting for their food. They can hunt alone or in packs. Wolves tend to hunt in packs though so they can hunt bigger prey like a moose or something. If they are loners they tend to go for smaller animals like rabbits and mice plus some other stuff.
Wolves survive by hunting elk, caribou, deer, moose, or any other animal of that nature.
it also is very aggressive especially when it has pups. Bears don't eat full grown wolves but they will eat pups. wolves also eat bear cubs but not full grown bears. bears and wolves go together like black and white and they never really got along. since wolves are top predators, along with bears and other wild dogs, they don't have to worry as much about animals but they have to worry about people hunting them. Humans are worse enemies to wolves than bears. They won't get you if you leave them alone. The stories you have heard about wolves being bad were probably told by people who got too comfortable with getting near a wolf, its pack, or its pups.
