On foot.
Gray Wolves travel in packs, witch usually consists of 8-20 wolves.

at the top is the Alpha Male and Female, and at the bottom of the pack is the Omega Male and Female.
on their feet unless someone cut them off, then I guess they learn how to levitate or fly or something.
