internet explorer works on tabs..you just need to browse through the tabs as it got no homepage while browsing
Recently Closed Tabs can be accessed from the Chrome Menu in the toolbar and then Recent Tabs. Recent Tabs contains only about 10 recent tabs if the tab closed doesn't appear then open a new tab and type in address bar chrome://history and hit enter, this shows the entire history of your browsing. Browsing History can also be accessed from shortcut command Ctrl + H or from Chrome Menu.

You could get tabs if you are using I.E.7, Firefox, and any other browsers that supports tabs. You might be able to get tabs in add-ons.

You do not want to slow down a browser while browsing. It can however be done when large number of tabs are opened at once.
You can do multiple tabs by clicking the + button at the top. You can rearrange tabs by dragging them. you can open a link in a new tab by dragging it to the top. You can also turn a tab into a new window by dragging it down from the top.
I went to tools- internet options- advanced- browsing section- unclick 'enable third party browser extensions' and in the accessibility section click 'enable caret browsing for new windows and tabs. This worked for me!
