Turn the circuit on to see if it works.

NO WAY should you just do that!
Before you do that you must at least take the trouble to use a suitable test meter to check that all the connections are tight and that there are no unwanted short circuits between the various conductors.

As always, if you are in doubt about what to do, the best advice anyone should give you is to call a licensed electrician to advise what work is needed.
Before you do any work yourself,
on electrical circuits, equipment or appliances,
always use a test meter to ensure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized.

electrical wires are selected to satisfy with the desired conditions and supply.
Connecting wires in electrical terms is called an electrical splice. All electrical splices have to be made in a junction box.
Two wires are always needed to supply electrical equipment so that the current has a complete circuit to flow in. One of the wires is earthed at the supply transformer, that one is called the neutral, and the other one is the live.
Their high conductivity is why transition metals are used to make electrical wires.
an exposed conduit used for carrying electrical wires/cables
If the reverse lights are not working on a 1999 Chevy Suburban, be sure to check the fuse panel. If all the fuses are in working order, check the wires for any loose connections. Faulty wires can result in little or no light input.
check all the wires are connected to where they are supposed to be
For electrical appliances to work the wires must be correctly connected and plugged in to the receptacle.
To check if RTD PT100 is working properly you need to check and make sure all the wires are connected. Take several readings and if they are the same, it is working properly.
There is an electrical cable consisting of 3 wires on the 1992 A4LD. Check to make sure all 3 of these wires are intact, and working. My gray one was snipped on my 1992 A4LD, and after reconnecting it, it worked fine.

To strip electrical wires and to twist mutliple wires together.
It can is is (check out Mercury switches), but it gets complicated and expensive.
The electrical resistance in thick wires is less than thin.
Start at the basics. Bulbs, fuses, then you need to get serious and check wires and connections. It is best if you have an electrical tester to check for power.
check the ground wires on each side of the rad. if there is a poor ground it will cause all kinds of electrical problems, like the wipers turning on,lights not working, transmission not engaging to name a few.
check fuses. check bulbs. check wires. If not any of those, good luck.
