This method is not ideal for large networks (50 or more computers).The other type of firewall consolidates protection to one firewall. So, therefore all traffic via the internet for every computer on that network must go throught the server and the firewall that's running. This method is very ideal for large networks because network administrators only have to acces the server to see incidences such as threats to the network.If you want protection for each computer and have a smaller network I would reccomend installing a anti-malware program like Avast Internet Security on every device attached to the network.
