two bolts on the bottom of the lights then remove the screw on the right from behind the handlebars, left if standing in front of the 4 wheeler, of both lights it has a receiving fixture on that side.
I am having trouble getting the bulbs in because there are three options and I ran out of time. I am trying to find out how to do it with a flash light, otherwise I will wait till tomorrow and try all three ways. hehe
You can access the low beam headlight bulb from the engine compartment. Push the bulb holder in and turn. The bulb will come out.
getting the headlamp assembly to slide out to access the insert for the bulb is tricky
Remove the headlight assembly above the bad bulb to gain access to the burned out bulb. To remove the headlight assembly, open the hood, locate and remove the two tabs that lock and hold the assembly in place, with those tabs removed you can wiggle the headlight assembly out in the open. Now you can reach in and r & r the burned out signal bulb
Remove the headlight assembly above the faulty signal bulb. This will give you access to the signal bulb socket. To remove the headlight assembly, open the hood, stand in front of the headlight assembly, notice two black tabs sticking up behind the headlight assembly inside the radiator support. Pull up and wiggle the tabs to remove them, this will release the headlight assembly. You can now wiggle the headlight assembly out to gain access to the signal bulb socket for replacement.
By removing the locks that hold the headlight assembly in place you can wiggle the headlight assembly out to gain access to the headlight bulbs for replacement.

Open the hood, remove the two locks that hold the headlight assembly in place, with the two locks removed you can wiggle the headlight assembly out and gain access to the back side of the assembly to remove and replace the headlight bulb.
To change a headlight bulb on an A6, first remove the intake duct on the slam panel. Remove the air box and unclip the access panel on the back of the light. Take off bulb and put in the new one.

Remove the headlight door (that is the chrome trim around the headlight/parking-turn lens) to gain access to the bulb. You may need to push down on the bumper to get to the bottom screw. Once you have access just push and twist the bulb to remove.
* Remove the upper air intake splash guard * Remove the headlight housing retaining bolts and pull out the housing assembly out to access the bulb * Working at the rear of the headlight housing rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to separate it from the housing while setting the housing aside * Unplug the electrical connector from the bulb holder
Your owner's manual describes this in detail. You access the headlight bulb by removing the 2 push pins on the fender liner and then pulling it back enough to access the bulb.
