So far, Battlefield Premium has no maps that are exclusive to it. The newest DLC, Close Quarters, can be found on the ingame store (For PC, it is on Battlelog.com). To access the maps, just join a game that include the maps in the map rotation of the server.
22 maps in the new version Battlefield 3 Premium.
There are a total of 20 new maps in the 5 Battlefield Premium DLC's. Along with those, there are about 20 new weapons, over 10 new vehicles, 4 new game modes, 30 new assignments, and 20 dog tags.
Battlefield 3: Limited Edition (and players with Premium) grants the player access to the "Back to Karkand" expansion. This expansion adds four new maps (among other additions) named: Gulf of Oman, Strike at Karkand, Wake Island and Sharqi Peninsula.
You can download modified maps (I recommend not to) or update to the newest version. But I updated and there were no new maps. To download patches (updates) go to Battlefield 1942 site. For player made maps just search Battlefield 1942 player maps. Hope this is helpful!
They're will be no new maps on battlefield 1943 (c) (C) - except the one which is already out - Coral Sea which was unlocked after the 43 million community kills.
Battlefield 3 Premium includes everything that the regular edition comes with and some expansions. The expansions are Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game. These expansions include weapons, assignments, maps, dog tags, etc. This was copied from my previous answer to the same answer for a similar question.
It is just new maps with new objectives, generally good maps though.
Battlefield 3's End Game is scheduled to release sometime in march. This new expansion will probably have the following in it: Maps, guns, assignments, dog tags, upgrades, new air and land vehicles, and the addition of motorcycles. End game will be the last expansion for Battlefield 3. After that Battlefield 4 will release sometime in the fall of 2013. Set to release sometime in March.
Whenever they make them, I'd guess early 2012.
You need to have the B2K(Back to Karkand) DLC. It includes maps, vehicles, and the assignments which once completed, unlock new weapons. there are also many new weapons and assignments in the premium expansions, Including the M417, and the up coming DLC "aftermath"s premier weapon is the tactical crossbow.
No. Anniversary only comes with the six new matchmaking maps and the new firefight map. You only have access to those maps on the Anniversary disc. The only way to play both the Reach maps and the Anniversary maps is to buy the map pack for Anniversary or buy the game and use the code inside the case to upload the Anniversary maps to your hard drive for your Reach disc to access.
EA and DICE just released a new map pack called Close Quarters. There are several small maps that would work well for two player.
